Update : I think this trio wins the day.
Mad internet props to anyone who can tell me the meaning of this one. I only recognized it because I’ve given this particular sequence some thought in the past (and of course, I could be wrong about what the owner actually was thinking when they picked this plate).
I forgot to mention that I spotted this at a local tech hub, so there’s a good chance it means what we think it means.

Isn’t it something to do with H2G2 (Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy) and the answer to life the universe and everything.
I used to read h2g2.com a lot, years ago.

If it were in Japan, that quantity of 1’s would almost certainly indicate Yakuza.

I’ve often wondered whether 42's pleasant binary representation had any bearing on Douglas Adams’s decision to use it as the answer. He was a definite nerd, at least later in his life.

Definitely. I loved the first few books; the chapter featuring Agrajag always leaves me in stitches.

Off subject just a bit, have you put your bid in for the Hurst Jeepster yet?
Seems like it would be up your alley. https://barnfinds.com/1-of-100-built-1970-hurst-jeepster/

Fascinating, I’d never heard of these. Thanks for the tip.
Sadly I’m in no position to handle a project, for a variety of long-standing stupid reasons, and this one looks well beyond my capabilities.
